ORVIA

Gold, pressed from the dark.

One harvest a year, cold pressed within six hours in the hills above Assisi. Nothing added, nothing hurried.

Glass that keeps the light out.

Olive-dark glass, filled by hand and sealed under bone wax, guards every aroma from the day of pressing.

The grove, carved into the shoulder.

Each bottle carries a branch in relief, cast from a cutting of the oldest tree on our terraces.

ORVIA

Extra virgin olive oil from a single Umbrian hillside. The 2025 pressing is limited to 4,800 numbered bottles.

Centuries-old olive trees on dry-stone terraces at dawn

Monte Subasio, Umbria

One hillside. Four centuries of trees.

Our grove climbs eleven dry-stone terraces on the eastern slope of Monte Subasio, at 480 metres. Some of the trunks were already old when the terraces were rebuilt in 1790.

We pick by hand in the last days of October, while the olives are still green and turning. The yield is small. The flavour is not.

Green, bitter, peppery. As it should be.
